Vetoset CA547

The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc. 

Wet all surfaces with clean water before the application of Vetoset CA547. The surface should appear damp with no water pooling.

For the preparation of mortar adhesive, pour into a container 5.4 - 6.4 liters of water for each 20Kg bag of Vetoset CA547. Add the powder to the water and mix with a low speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lumpfree consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes and briefly remix without adding extra water. 

Blend Vetoset CA547 manually for small quantities and maintain the correct amount of powder to water. 

If required, add 0.5 Ltr of Saveto Bond 2 to the mixing water, followed by powder's addition. Use the mixed material within 2 hours. 

Do not add water to the mixture once the mortar adhesive starts to harden.

Spread the mixed Vetoset CA547 mortar adhesive and firmly press it onto the surface that will be tiled; work with a notched trowel. Spread the mortar adhesive to an area that can be tiled within 10 -15 minutes.

Place the tiles onto the fresh adhesive mortar and firmly press them with a slight twist; immediately knock them into the desired position. Adjust the position of the tiles, if required, within its adjustability time of 10-15 minutes after installation. 

Mortar adhesive must not rise between the tile joints higher than halfway the thickness of the tiles. 

Allow the installed tiles to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours. 

It is recommended to use Vetofill CG552 for filling the joint gaps after 2 days of tile installation.

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove the hardened material using mechanical means.
