Vetobond AB432 is an acrylic, polymer-based bonding agent and cement modifier designed to be used as a bonding aid, curing agent, and to gauge liquid for cementitious systems. The product is resistant to hydrolysis and can therefore be used for external applications. Vetobond AB432 is a milky liquid that first turns purple when applied on concrete then becomes clear once it dries. It can be applied directly from the bottle or pail onto concrete substrates using a brush, roller, or spray
Clean all surfaces and remove any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits, or algae. Roughen the surfaces, and remove laitance and expose aggregates by light scabbling or grit-blasting.
Expose corroded steel fully in the repair area & remove all loose scale and corrosion deposits. Clean the steel to a bright condition (pay extra attention to the back of the exposed steel bars). Grit-blasting is recommended for this process.
Thoroughly soak the substrate with clean water (and remove any excess) before working. Scrub Vetobond AB432 into the substrate. Avoid puddling and remove any excess.
Apply the repair mortar or topping while the primer is still tacky.

Cure the repair mortar or topping using Vetobond AB432 to prevent rapid loss of water. In severe drying conditions, additional curing methods may be necessary. Protect uncured mortar from frost and rain.
Remove Vetobond AB432 from tools, equipment, and mixers with clean water immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
