Vetotouch Serene

Cementitious polymer modified decorative finish coat (1-3 mm).

Vetotouch Serene is a cement-based decorative finish composed of hydraulic binders, fine powder, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site, which requires only the addition of clean water to produce easily workable mortar.

Uses

  • External and internal building facades. 
  • As a finish coat for EIFS / ETICS systems. 
  • On plastered walls, fair-faced concrete substrates, and pre-cast panels. 
  • Decorative effects: marble finish and special effects. 
  • Micro-concrete finish decorative effect.

Usage Instructions

The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc. 

Before the Vetotouch Serene application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the Vetotouch Serene application.

Add to the mixing container 9.5-11.5 liters of water for each 25kg bag of Vetotouch Serene. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10min and briefly remix without adding water. 

Manual mixing is allowed for small batch quantities and mix for approx. 1-2 min or when homogeneous mix is achieved. 

Add 0.5 to 1.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above. 

Use the mixed material within 2 hours. 

Do not add water once the mixed mortar starts to harden. 

Apply Vetotouch Serene by trowel application in a single or multiple coats on smooth (plastered) surfaces to achieve the desired thickness of 1-3 mm. 

It is vital to cure Vetotouch Serene surface with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend the curing period for a minimum of 5-7 days. It will help to obtain high physical properties. An acrylic-based curing compound can be used. 

To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Saveto Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice). 

Clean all tools employed to apply Vetotouch Serene with water before it hardens; otherwise, mechanical means are needed.
