Water resistant internal use premix smooth cement coating
Vetonit Finish WR is a cement-based smooth finishing coat composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site, as it requires only the addition of clean water to produce a material that is easy to work with. Vetonit Finish WR is a high-quality product for multipurpose use. Vetonit Finish WR can be applied in thickness from 1mm to 3mm.
Vetonit Finish WR is supplied in 25kg Bags.
Consumption: 1.0 - 1.2 kg/m²/1mm Thickness
Stated consumptions data are for general guidance. Actual consumption depends on the nature of the substrate, method of application, and wastage.
The original sealed bags of Vetonit Finish WR have a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry, shaded place below 35ºC.
Mixing
Internal Block Walls & Rough Surfaces
For manual application, add to the mixing container 9.5-11.0 liters of water for each 25kgg bag of Vetonit Finish WR. For the Spray machine application, use 11.0-13.0 liters of water for each 25kg bag Vetonit Finish WR.
Add the powder to the water and mix by using a mechanical plaster mixer or a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle. Mix for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes, and remix briefly without adding further water.
Smooth Concrete Surfaces & Ceilings
Add 0.5 liters of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water, and accordingly, adjust the water requirement for each 25kg bag of Vetonit Finish WR. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.
Use the mixed material within 3 hours. Do not add water to the mix once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Application
Apply Vetonit Finish WR in layers to achieve the desired thickness of 1-3 mm.
Select the appropriate spray machine nozzle sizes to obtain various grades of finish textures.
Allow the installed material to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours.
Curing
Cure Vetonit Finish WR by spraying the applied material's surface with water every 12 hours, for a minimum of 3 days. In using Vetonit Finish WR as an underlayment layer to receive a final finishing system, you can add 1 liter of Vetonit Bond 2 per 25kg bag to improve the curing process. This will help achieve a uniform color, minimize the risk of surface cracks, and increase the material's mechanical strengths.
Cleaning
Clean all tools immediately after finishing by water. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Before the application of Vetonit Finish WR, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the Vetonit Finish WR application.
Vetonit Finish WR is highly alkaline; therefore, avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. In case of any skin contact, wash it with soap & water. In case of eye irritation, immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advice.
Vetonit Finish WR is non-flammable.
