Water-resistant external use premix smooth cement coating
Vetonit Finish WR EG is a cement-based smooth finishing coat composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site. It requires only the addition of clean water to produce easily workable material. Vetonit Finish WR EG is a high-quality product for multipurpose use. It can be used as a finish coat for Vetonit Base WR EG. Vetonit Finish WR EG is applied in thickness from 1mm to 3mm, in one or two layers depending on-site requirement.

An original sealed bags of Vetonit Finish WR EG have a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry, shaded place below 25ºC.
Mixing
Internal Block Walls & Rough Surfaces
For manual application, add to the mixing container 9.5-12.0 liters of water for each 25kg bag of Vetonit Finish WR EG. For Spray machine application, use 12.0- 14.0 liters of water for each 25kg bag. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer, or use a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle. Mix for 3-4 minutes, until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes, and remix briefly without adding further water.
Smooth Concrete Surfaces
Add 0.5 liters of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water. Adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.
Use the mixed material within 3 hours.
Do not add water to the mix once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Application
Apply Vetonit Finish WR EG in one or two layers as required to achieve the desired thickness of 1-3 mm.
Select the appropriate spray machine nozzle sizes to obtain various grades of finish textures,
Do not disturb the installed material for at least 48 hours.
Curing
Cure Vetonit Finish WR EG by spraying the surface of the applied material with water every 12 hrs for a minimum of 3 days. During hot & dry conditions, allow curing for a minimum of 5 days. This will help in achieving a uniform color, minimizing the risk of surface cracks, and leading to higher mechanical strengths.
Cleaning
Clean all tools should immediately after finishing by water. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Prior to Finish WR EG application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water and surface should look damp at the time of Finish WR EG application.
Vetonit Finish WR EG is highly alkaline, therefore, avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application.
Any skin contact should be wash with soap & water. In case of eye irritation, immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold water.
