Polymer modified two component cementitious deformable tile adhesive (C2TE S2)
Vetoset CA545 is a two component cement based professional grade highly deformable tile adhesive that works with most types of tiles and flexible substrates. The product is composed of a blend of cements, carefully selected aggregates, special additives and polymers that provide Vetoset CA545 with its unique properties. The product is suitable for internal as well as external use including submerged conditions such as swimming pools and water reservoirs.

Vetoset CA545 is supplied in 27kg Kits (20 Kg bag and 7 Liter container), Yield: 14 Liters
Original sealed container of Vetoset CA545 has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 25ºC.
Add to the mixing container the 7 liters liquid part of Vetoset CA545 to 20Kg bag of Vetoset CA545. Add the powder to the liquid and mix with a mechanical mixer or low speed heavy duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes, until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Apply a thin layer of the adhesive onto the substrate using the flat edge of the trowel. Comb the adhesive with a suitable notched trowel to achieve a bed thickness of 2 - 5 mm. Place the tiles with firm pressure to ensure proper contact with the adhesive.
It is always better to work in a manageable area that can be tiled within the open time of the adhesive. Leave the tiled surfaces for 24 hours before grouting.
Note: The thickness of the adhesive bed is directly proportional to the size and thickness of the tile.
Tools and equipment can be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened materials will require removal by mechanical means.
Substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, or any other substance that might impair the quality of bond with the substrate.
Concrete, hollow blocks and cement based substrates must be sufficiently cured and irrigated by water 1 hour prior to application. Gypsum boards, plaster boards, anhydrite screeds, must be sufficiently dry and free from dust.
Vetoset CA545 is highly alkaline therefore avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. Any skin contact should be washed with soap and water. In case of eyes irritation, immediately wash with copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advice.
Vetoset CA545 is non-flammable.
