Product Description

Ready Mix Bond  is a single component acrylic based, bonding agent for cementitious materials. It is a water based, specially formulated to enhance bonding properties as well as improve mechanical strengths of plaster mixes when incorporated with mixing water. Ready Mix Bond also reduces shrinkage cracks during early stages of cement hardening by minimizing surface water loss in fresh applied mixes. Ready Mix Bond is ideal for use with variety of sand/ cement based mixes. Ready Mix Bond can be diluted on site with potable water for desired applications.

Advantages
  • Multipurpose usage.
  • Can be used as bonding agent & admixture.
  • Enhances bonding of plaster, sand/cement screed, renders etc.
  • Improves hydration & curing when added to cement based mixes.
  • Improves compression strength & abrasion.
  • It adheres well to various construction materials, including concrete, stone, etc.
  • Ensure brighter & long lasting colour to architectural finishes.
  • Reduces shrinkage & cracks.

Application Information
Instructions for use

Application
Ready Mix Bond has tendency of soft settlement on storage and therefore it is recommended to mix the material in same container prior to use.
Follow the dilution ratio required for each type of premixed mortar.

As Admixture
Add 3 parts of Ready Mix Bond with 1 part of water. Mix thoroughly to obtain uniform consistency liquid. Add the diluted Ready Mix Bond to pre-blended sand/cement plaster, mortar, or other dry mixes. Mix for 3-4 minutes using mechanical mixer at low speed.
Let the mixture stand for 10 min and mix again briefly to achieve homogeneous lump free mixture.

As Bonding Agent
As a bonding agent, Ready Mix Bond is used without dilution. Apply Ready Mix Bond using brush or spray directly onto substrate. If using hand pump, spray at a rate of 8-10 m2/litre.
immediately, while bonding agent is still wet follow by applying plaster, render, mortars or joint tapes etc.

Note: Ready Mix Bond should remain tacky when applying top coat finishes.

Surface Preparation

Clean all surfaces and remove any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae. Roughen the surfaces, remove any laitence and expose aggregate by light scabbling or grit-blasting.

Limitation
  • Use the whole material once you opened the pack, as the material start to skin & then dry. Any part material left in container must be kept air tight.
  • Do not mix with any additives or products unless recommended by saveto.
  • Tools should be cleaned with water before it hardens. After the hardening its residuals can be removed mechanically only.
