Add to the mixing container 9 - 11 liters of water for each 50kg bag of Vetostone Filler. Add the powder to the water and mix for 3-4 minutes using a mechanical plaster mixer or a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, colored lump-free consistency.
Blend Vetostone Filler manually for small quantities and maintain the correct amount of powder to water. Mix for approximately 1-2 minutes until achieving a homogeneous mix.
Application
Neutralize the suction of the joint and stone with water before applying the mortar. Remove any excess water.
Use Vetostone Filler to fill the joints between the stones vertically and horizontally using a mason spatula/ trowel.
After stiffening, give Vetostone Filler a final smoothing to remove protrusions and to eliminate undulations.
Cleaning
Clean all tools immediately after finishing with water. Clean hardened materials mechanically.

The joint should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, etc.
Before Vetostone Filler application, neutralize the stone and joint suction with clean potable water.
