Chemical mold and form-work release agent
Vetorel XT421 is a single component, low viscosity pale straw colored liquid composed of synthetic mineral oils and special varied additives that performs in a superior manner to standard oil based mold release agents. Vetorel XT421 provides the plywood surface with a water repellent film preventing concrete from adhering to the form work resulting with a smooth, stainless concrete surface.

Original sealed container of Vetorel XT421 and has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 35ºC.
Vetorel XT421 is supplied in pails or drums ready to use at site without a need to premix operation. It can be applied by brush, roller or spraying machine.
Apply Vetorel XT421 on plywood or steel shutter before the first casting. After every use of form-work, the shutter should be recoated lightly with Vetorel XT421
Do not over apply Vetorel XT421 on the form-work. Excessive material should be allowed to drain before using the form-work.
Apply the product with a brush or preferably with a sprayer. For best results, it is advisable to apply Vetorel XT421 at least two hours before using the shutter.

All molds, shutter surfaces must be cleaned from deposits of rust, concrete, oil or other materials. The product is ready to use without any dilution.
Vetorel XT421 contains hydrocarbon oils and should be treated as potentially harmful as there is a possible risk of irreversible effects in contact with skin. Vetorel XT421 should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapors and ensure adequate ventilation.
Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with soap and water - do not use solvent.
In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice, if swallowed seek medical attention immediately - do not induce vomiting.

Vetorel XT421 has a shelf flash point, so the flammability risk is low. Do not expose to naked flames or other sources of ignition.
Flash point: above 60ºC.
Cleaning and disposal
Spillages of Vetorel XT421 should be absorbed onto sand, earth or vermiculite and transferred to suitable containers. Contaminated areas will become slippery.
The disposal of excess or waste material should be carried out in accordance with local legislation under the guidance of the local waste regulatory authority.
