Usage Instructions

The surface should be sound, clean, and free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt-curing compounds, etc. before applying Vetonit Finish WR. Wet the entire surface with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the application.

For manual application, add 9.5 - 11.0 litres of water & a 25- kg bag of Vetonit Finish WR to a mixing container. For the Spray machine application, use 11.0- 13.0 litres of water for each 25-kg bag of Vetonit Finish WR. Add the powder to the water then mix by using a mechanical plaster mixer or a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle. Mix until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow the mixture to stand for about 10 minutes then remix briefly without adding more water.

Add 0.5 litres of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water, and accordingly, adjust the water requirement for each 25kg bag of Vetonit Finish WR. Follow the same mixing procedure described above. Use the mixed material within 3 hours. Do not add water to the mix once the mixed mortar begins to harden.

Generally, it is recommended to Apply Vetonit Finish WR in layers to achieve the desired thickness of 1-3 mm.

Select the appropriate spray machine nozzle sizes to obtain various grades of finish textures. Allow the installed material to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours.

Cure Vetonit Finish WR by spraying the applied material’s surface with water every 12 hours, for a minimum of 3 days. In using Vetonit Finish WR as an underlayment layer to receive a final finishing system, you can add 1 litre of Vetonit Bond 2 per 25kg bag to improve the curing process. This will help achieve a uniform colour, minimise the risk of surface cracks, and increase the material’s mechanical strengths.

Clean all tools with water immediately after finishing. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
