Vetorep ER430 is a two-component epoxy-based thixotropic solvent-free and fast strength-development repair compound. Once the kit components are mixed, the product becomes a flexible & abrasion-resistant mortar. When poured into asphalt cracks, it sets and bonds perfectly to the asphalt substrate.
Clean the surface and remove any loose particles; use compressed air for effective cleaning.
Mix the Vetorep ER430 kit thoroughly to produce a fullyhomogeneous & flowable mortar.
Vetorep ER430 must be mixed mechanically. Stir the hardener and base components separately to disperse any settled material before mixing them together.
Empty the entire hardener container’s contents into the base container and mix well for 3 minutes, then empty the mixture into a forced action mixer of adequate capacity. Add the aggregate slowly while the mixer is running and continue mixing for 2 to 3 minutes until all the components are fully blended. Do not mix partial quantities.
Note: It is recommended to use a slow-speed heavy-duty drill fitted with a purpose mixer.
Pour the mixed mortar into the prepared substrate until the cracks are filled. Allow the material to set for 16 hours at 25°C before allowing foot traffic and 48 hours before allowing heavy traffic. In case of the ambient temperature of 35°C, vehicular traffic can commence after 30 hours.
Vetorep ER430 can be applied in cold conditions (down to 12°C). The material should not be applied when the substrate and/or air temperature is at 12°C or below. However, you can apply the product at 12°C static temperature or 12°C and rising.
However, it is highly recommended to apply the products at temperatures above 15°C to avoid practical application impediments.
At ambient temperatures above 35°C, Vetorep ER430 will have a shorter pot time. Store the material in the shade or in an air-conditioned environment. Do not apply under direct sunlight.
Remove Vetorep ER430 from tools, equipment, and mixers with Vetonit Solvent XX400 immediately after use.
