- Suitable for vertical & ceiling surfaces.
Usage Instructions
The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, shutter/form release agents, curing compounds, or any other substance that might impair the substrate’s quality bonding.
Before Spatter Dash-MC application, damp the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The substrate should be neutralized surface at the time of Spatter Dash-MC application.
Add to the mixing container 8 - 10 liters of water for each 50Kg bag of Spatter Dash-MC. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency.
Blend Spatter Dash-MC manually for small quantities and maintain the correct amount of powder to water. Mix for approximately 1-2 minutes until achieving a homogeneous mix.
Preferably, apply Spatter Dash-MC in a single coat application to achieve the desired rough thickness of 4-6 mm. Apply mixed material using a mechanical spray or manual spatter machine or hawk & trowel technique. Cover 100% of surface area that will be plastered.
Allow the installed Spatter Dash-MC to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours.
Cure Spatter Dash-MC by spraying the applied material surface with water every 12hrs for a minimum of 3 days. During hot & dry conditions, allow curing for a minimum of 5 days. It will help to obtain high mechanical strengths and minimize the risk of surface cracks.
Clean all tools immediately after finishing with water. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
