The substrate should be sound, clean, and free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, or any other substance that might impair the product’s bond quality with the substrate. 

For concrete or asphalt surfaces, use industrial-grade vacuum cleaners and squeegees to remove dust, dirt, and residues effectively. Ensure that the substrate temperature and ambient air remain above 10°C during application and curing, with relative humidity not exceeding 75% to prevent any curing irregularities or adhesion issues. 

When applied over prefabricated subfloors like wet-pour rubber cushion systems (comprising SBR granules and PU binders), ensure these are properly sealed using an elastic pore sealer (Vetonit Sport Putty) to close any surface porosity and prevent defects in the final finish of Vetonit Sport UL375.

Vetonit Sport UL375 is supplied as a two-component system with Part A (base) and Part B (hardener) pre-measured in fixed weight proportions. Mixing must be performed with precision to achieve a homogeneous and consistent material. 

Pre-stir Part A (base) to reintegrate any slight separation within the container. Gradually add Part B (hardener) to Part A while stirring. Use a low-speed electric mixer (300-600 RPM) for 1-2 minutes, ensuring thorough dispersion of the hardener throughout the resin. Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing container periodically to ensure uniform consistency. 

Note: The mixed material must be used within 20-30 minutes at 25°C. Beyond this, the material may begin to cure, reducing its workability.

Vetonit Sport UL375 can be applied using a notched trowel. Pour the mixed material directly onto the prepared surface. Spread the material evenly using a 5.5 mm V-notched trowel. 

Immediately after spreading, use a spiked roller to release any trapped air bubbles and prevent the formation of surface defects such as blisters. Work in parallel passes with the roller to maintain a smooth and level surface. 

For multi-layer systems, ensure each layer is fully cured before applying the next component. If using Vetonit Sport UC374 polyurethane topcoat, allow the base layer to dry as per the curing guidelines.

Vetonit Sport UL375 cures within 9-12 hours at 25°C and 60% relative humidity. Ensure the environment meets these conditions for optimal results. 

Depending on the ambient temperature and humidity, subsequent layers, such as Vetonit Sport UC374, can be applied the following day. 

If environmental conditions or delays interfere with the next layer’s application, lightly sand the surface to restore smoothness and remove any contaminants before proceeding.

All tools should be cleaned with Vetonit Solvent XX400 immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
