Exterior decorative textured render
Vetotouch Tyrolean is a cement-based decorative finish composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site, which requires only the addition of clean water to produce easily workable mortar.
Vetotouch Tyrolean is supplied in a 25kg Bag.
Yield: 21.7 Liters.
Stated consumption data are for general guidance. Actual consumption depends on the nature of substrate, consistency used, method of application, and wastage.
The original sealed bag of Vetotouch Tyrolean has a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry, shaded place below 35ºC.
Add to the mixing container 7-8 liters of water for each 25kg bag of Vetotouch Tyrolean. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10min and briefly remix without adding water.
For small batch quantities, mix the product manually for approx. 1-2 min or when achieving a homogeneous. Add 0.5 to 1.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.
Use the mixed material within 30-60 minutes.
Do not add water once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Apply Vetotouch Tyrolean in one or two layers up to 6mm/coat. Apply by hopper Gun or by Terol hand-operated machine.
To protect Vetotouch Tyrolean, apply Vetoseal XX772 by brush or spray machine after three days of curing.
It is vital to cure Vetotouch Tyrolean surface with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend the curing period for a minimum of 5-7 days. It will help to obtain high physical properties. An acrylic-based curing compound can be used.
To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Saveto Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice).
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After the hardening, remove its residuals mechanically only.
The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Before the Vetotouch Tyrolean application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The surface should look damp at the time of the Vetotouch Tyrolean application.
Vetotouch Tyrolean is highly alkaline; therefore, avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. Any skin contact should be wash with soap & water. In case of eye irritation, immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advice.
