Premixed 8 to 20mm thick polymer modified cementitious self-leveling underlayment
Vetotop CL531 is a single component polymer modified cementitious floor self-leveling underlayment composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site; once mixed, it will form a cohesive self smoothening honey-like flowing mortar that is applied in thicknesses between 8 and 20mm, giving a super flat finish ready to receive final floor coverings including tiles, carpets, resinous flooring systems, parquet, ...etc.

The original sealed bag of Vetotop CL531 has a shelf life of 6 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry and shaded place below 35ºC.
For a single bag mixing, add to the mixing container 4.25 - 5.0 liters of water for each 25Kg bag of Vetotop CL531. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3 - 4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free fluid consistency.
Try to minimize the water addition to get higher strength. Manual mixing is allowed for small batch quantities, mix for approx. 1-2 min or until achieving a homogeneous mix.
Apply Vetotop CL531 using screw type pump with pumping rate of 25-50 liters/min and length of hose 40-50 LM. Control the water dosage to achieve the required flow.
After placing onto the primed surface, apply by trowel or pin screed. Rake to the Vetotop CL531 spreads and adjust itself to a level floor.
For small areas, Vetotop CL531 can be applied manually.
Use a suitable spike roll to remove entrapped air if there is any.
Vetotop CL531 is self-curing; seal off the area for 1 - 3 days. The floor becomes ready for commissioning or topping after 3-5 days.
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After the hardening, remove its residuals mechanically only.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Larger areas can be divided with wooden battens to control the pumping volume and determine the layer thickness to be applied.
Priming the substrate is vital; use Vetoprime PB433 diluted with potable water (ratio of 1:1.5), or use Vetoprime PB435 without dilution. Mix thoroughly and spray or brush onto the floor without pooling.
Before applying Vetotop CL530, it’s important to leave the primer between 30-60 minutes to dry fully. In case of doubt, check the primer dryness by adding drops of water on top of the primer substrate; it should not absorb the water drops.
Do not mix with any additives or products unless recommended by Saveto.
Make sure the substrate is suitable for underlayment application. In case of doubt, try on sample area to assess its suitability.
Do not apply the product at a temperature less than +5ºC. During the summer season, cover the working area to prevent ill effects from direct sun and air-draft during the initial curing stage.

Vetotop CL531 is highly alkaline; therefore, avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. Any skin contact should be wash with soap & water. In case of eye irritation, immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advice.
Vetotop CL531 is non-flammable.
