Heavy-duty polyurethane hybrid flooring system
Vetotop US172 is a single-layer, seamless, solvent-free, polyurethane-based flooring system. Its textured matt finish possesses excellent chemical resistance, withstands abrasive wear, has high impact resistance, and withstands direct steam contact and cleaning practices.

Coverage: 2.1-2.3 kg m2 @ 1mm thickness.

The original sealed kit of Vetotop US172 has a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry and shaded place below 30ºC.
Vetotop US172 is designed to be a hard-wearing trowel-applied polyurethane screed on cementitious or metal substrates at thicknesses 6, 9, or 12 mm. The applied product will be resistant to water as well as a wide range of chemicals.
All surfaces receiving Vetotop US172 can be applied directly to sound and non-porous concrete.
Vetotop US172 is supplied in three pre-weighed packs (base, hardener, and aggregate), ready for immediate on-site use. Part mixing of these components is not acceptable and will affect both the performance and the finished floor's appearance. Mixing should be carried out using either a forced action mixer or a heavy-duty mobile mixer fitted with a suitable jiffy-type mixing paddle. All such equipment should be of a type and capacity approved by Saveto. Mix the components in a suitably sized mixing vessel. Stir the base and hardener components individually, then empty them into the mixing vessel scrapping the edges and mix for 2 minutes. Slowly, add the content of the graded aggregate pack and mix for a further 3 minutes until obtaining a completely homogeneous material.
Spread Vetotop US172 to a uniform thickness on the primed surface using either a screed box or the edge of a steel trowel. Tamp the material with a wooden float to ensure complete compaction. Finally, finish to a closed even texture using a steel trowel. Screeding rods are useful to maintain a minimum compacted thickness of 6mm. Apply the material within the pot life after mixing.
Although Vetotop US172 is impervious at 6mm thick in constantly wet operations areas or where a high degree of cleanliness is required.
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc. Laitance and weak surface layer shall be removed using mechanical methods such as grinding or blasting to provide a sound, well-profiled surface. All necessary repairs should be made before the application by using the same material. New concrete floors shall be at least 5 days old and visibly dry with no standing water on top.
Grooves must be cut in concrete to control shrinkage. Please contact Saveto for further advice.
Vetotop US172 should not come into contact with skin and eyes or be swallowed. Avoid inhalation of vapor and spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protection. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection. Barrier creams provide additional skin protection.
Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with a suitable skin cleanser followed by washing with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately - do not induce vomiting.
