Product Description

Saveto Putty Fine is a water-based putty. It is supplied as a wet putty in the pre-weighed pails or bag ready to use on-site. Saveto Putty Fine is a high-quality product as a thin underlayment to repair undulations and provides a very smooth surface finish ideal for subsequent application of paint & decorative coatings. Saveto Putty Fine can be applied generally in thickness less than 0.7mm.

Packaging & Coverage

Saveto Putty Fine is supplied in 20 kg plastic pails.

Coverage:60 - 120 m2 /20kg depends on the substrate.

Stated consumptions data are for general guidance. Actual consumption depends on the nature of the substrate, method of application and wastage.




Shelf Life & Storage

Original sealed containers of Saveto Putty Fine has a shelf life of 18 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place between 5 ºC up to 39º

Application Information
Instructions for use


Saveto Putty Fine is generally applied in single or double coats. 

Apply Saveto Putty Fine to the substrate by pressing the putty firmly, work the mixed material to a smooth level using a flat trowel.

Apply a second coat as necessary once the first coat has fully dried.

Once Saveto Putty Fine is applied, It is recommended to apply one coat of alkali-resistant primer followed by two coats of acrylic emulsion paint or other suitable coatings.


Saveto Putty Fine is self-curing and does not require water treatment. 


All tools should be cleaned immediately after finishing with water. Hardened materials can be cleaned mechanically.


Surface Preparation

The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc. For previously painted surfaces, remove the old paint prior to the application of Saveto Putty Fine.

Allow wet surfaces to dry completely prior to the putty application. 

Additional Information
Health & Sefety

Avoid direct contact of Saveto Putty Fine with eyes or skin. It is recommended to use protective gloves and goggles during application. Any skin contact should be wash with soap & water. In case of eye irritation, immediately wash with a copious amount of clean cold water. Seek medical advice.

Saveto Putty Fine is non-flammable.
