Single component flexible hybrid roof water proofing membrane
Saveto Cool Top is a single component elastomeric water-based acrylic / PU hybrid membrane that has versatile uses for waterproofing in residential and commercial construction. The product is white in color with a high solar reflective index (SRI) that ensures better thermal roof insulation. Saveto Cool Top has a high resistance to yellowing, and color fading, as well as excellent dirt pick up resistance.
Saveto Cool Top is supplied in 20kg Pails.
Theoretical Coverage of 0.7-1.2 kg/m2/coat.
Stated consumption data is for general guidance. Actual consumption depends on the nature of substrate, method of application, and wastage.
The original sealed container of Saveto Cool Top has a shelf life of 12 months, provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry, shaded place below 35ºC.
Apply Saveto Cool Top by brush, roll, or airless spray machine. Prime porous cementitious surfaces with Vetoprime AP443 at the rate of 5m²/liter and allow it to dry before applying the first coat. Use the first coat of Saveto Cool Top at the rate of 1.2 - 1.9m²/kg and allow it to cure for 4 - 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature.
Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat at the same rate above and allowed it to cure.
It is recommended for heavy pedestrian traffic to use fiberglass scrim reinforcement, embedded firmly in the second coat while wet, and a third coat should be applied.
Remove Saveto Cool Top product from tools, equipment, and mixers with clean water before the initial set. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
All surfaces should be dry and free from contamination, such as oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, moss algal growth, laitance, and all traces of mold release oils and curing compounds. This is best achieved by lightly grit-blasting the surface. Where moss, algae, or similar growths have occurred, treatment with a proprietary biocide should be carried out after the grit-blasting process. Spalled and deeply disintegrated concrete should be removed to sound concrete and repaired with a Saveto repair system.
Concrete substrates should be at least 14 days old, bituminous and PVC substrates should be 3 months old before overcoating with Saveto Cool Top.
Saveto Cool Top should not be applied at ambient temperatures below 5°C and dropping.
Saveto Cool Top should not be applied on surfaces expected to suffer from rising dampness or relative humidity greater than 75%.

Saveto Cool Top contains hybrid acrylic PU polymers, which can be harmful to the skin. During use, avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protective equipment. The use of barrier creams provides additional skin protection. In case of skin contact, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately – do not induce vomiting.
Saveto Cool Top is non-flammable.
