Instructions for use

Mixing

For the preparation of Vetonit Pool Grout mortar, pour into a container 7-8.5 Liters of water for 25Kg bag of Vetonit Pool Grout. Add the powder to the water and mix with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes and remix briefly without adding water.

Blend Vetonit Pool Grout manually for small quantities and maintain the correct mixing ratio of powder to water.

If required, add 0.5 Ltr of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water, followed by powder's addition. Use the mixed material within 1 hour.

Do not add water to the mixture once the mortar grout starts to harden.

Application

grouting trowel, a rubber spatula, or a sponge.

Spread the mixed grout diagonally across the tile joints and firmly press it with a rubbing pad covered with a sponge rubber spatula to ensure filling all the gaps.

Remove excess grout that remains on tiles using the same tool.

After the grout initially dries, from 15-30 minutes, depends on the ambient temperature & humidity, clean the tiles and remove all excess material with a wet sponge.

After full drying, clean the surface of the tiles with a dry cloth or dispensable cotton towels.

When washing & drying the tiles, ensure not to rub the tile joints too deep.

Keep the grout moist for the first 2 days after application to ensure achieving good hardened properties.

Cleaning

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened materials will require removal by mechanical means.

Surface Preparation

Remove all tile adhesive excess that is at a level higher than half of the tile thickness.

All the joints should be free from dust, loose materials & traces of foreign materials, etc. Neutralize the tiles' water absorption by applying clean potable water.

Do not leave water pooling in the joints.
