Vetogrout CG513

Free-flowing, non-shrink, cementitious cable grout (pre-bagged).

Vetogrout CG513 is a single component cementitious grout composed of blended cement, special additives, and fillers to enable fluid consistency and smooth, free flow of grout in demanding anchor post-tensioning applications.

Once mixed with the designated amount of water, the product will form a fluid grout that is either pourable or pumpable through small openings to long distances using Saveto recommended grout pumping equipment.

Uses

  • Grouting anchor cables in suspended bridges.
  • Grouting anchors in post-tensioning cases.
  • Soil stabilization grouting & micro-grouting.
  • Cavity infills under foundations and grade slabs.

Advantages

  • Free flow characteristics.
  • Non-Shrink with high adhesion.
  • Low coefficient of thermal expansion.
  • Hydrogen and chloride free.
  • It has a tropical formula that is suitable for MENA conditions.
  • High ultimate & early strength.
  • Suitable for grouting post-tensioned cables & anchors.
  • Contains migratory corrosion inhibitors (to protect stressed steel cables and anchors).

Usage Instructions

Clean the area/duct you wish to grout with water before applying Vetogrout CG513. Then, drain all free water.

Measure & pour 7.5 - 8.75 liters of clean water into a suitably sized bucket, then slowly add the powder of one full 25 kg bag to the bucket while mixing using a slow speed mixer fitted with a suitable mixing paddle. Continue mixing for another 3 minutes until a uniform lump-free consistency is achieved.

Allow the grout to mature for 1 minute before pouring; for larger quantities, it is recommended to use a pan forced action mixer. Avoid using free-fall mixers.

Place Vetogrout CG513 by pouring it into the designated application area continuously (Do not allow air pockets to develop). This process should be done within a time window of 20 minutes (max) after mixing.

If you’re using grout pumps to duct growth, it is recommended to place the hose as deep as possible into the duct, start pumping, and then slowly retract the hose, ensuring that pumped material is pushing the air out of the duct.

Remove Vetogrout CG513 from tools & equipment immediately after use with Vetonit Solvent XX400. Remove cured material mechanically.
