Usage Instructions

The surface should be sound, clean, and free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt-curing compounds, etc. Before applying Vetonit Base WR EG, wet the entire surface with clean potable water, and the surface should look damp at the time of the application.

For manual application, add 7.5 - 8.5 litres of water for each 25 Kg bag of Vetonit Base WR EG to a mixing container. For spray machine application, use 9.5 - 10 litres of water for each 25 kg bag. Add the powder to the water then mix with a mechanical mixer or a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.

Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes then remix briefly without adding more water.

Add 0.5 litres of Vetonit Bond 2 to the mixing water and adjust the water requirement accordingly for each 25 kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.

Apply Vetonit Base WR EG to achieve a maximum thickness of 5 mm in all layers (1-2 mm per layer).

To obtain different finish textures, select different gun nozzle sizes or vary the spraying distance.

Do not disturb the installed material for at least 48 hours.

Cure Vetonit Base WR EG by spraying the applied material’s surface with water every 12 hours for a minimum of 3 days. During hot & dry conditions, allow curing for a minimum of 5 days. This will help achieve a uniform colour, minimise the risk of surface cracks, and lead to higher mechanical strengths.

Clean all tools with water immediately after finishing. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
