Vetorep ER351
Epoxy putty, sealing, anchoring and leveling compound.
Vetorep ER351 is a two-component epoxy-based thixotropic solvent-free compound. Once mixing the kit components, the product becomes a smooth paste used to repair surface imperfections and irregularities, fill blow holes and pores while being completely impermeable, and have excellent adhesive and bonding properties. The product’s thixotropic nature allows it to function in vertical and overhead situations without sagging while maintaining an excellent bond.
Uses
- Repair of concrete surface pores, blemishes at a thickness from feather edge.
- Sealing of surface cracks in aggressive environments and injection repairs.
- Leveling of surface imperfections and irregularities before application of Saveto resinous coatings and toppings range.
- Fixing and bedding of tiles, dowels, and anchors.
Advantages
- Smooth paste consistency that is non-slump.
- Chemically resistant compound.
- Superior bond to a wide range of substrates.
- Compatible with most coating and topping types.
- Extremely effective in cases of low reinforcement steel-concrete cover.
- Economic and general purpose.
Usage Instructions
The surface must be structurally sound, free from oil, grease, and other forms of contamination. The concrete surface should be dry and suitably prepared either by scabbling or grit blasting to remove any surface laitance.

Vetorep ER351 comprises two components, a resin Base and a Hardener, supplied preweighed in the correct proportions. Under no circumstances should part mixing be carried out. When required for application, mix the two components well until obtaining a uniform consistency and color; this should be ideally carried out using a mechanical mixer.
For bonding concrete sections, apply an even coating of the product to both surfaces, and bring it together under light pressure. Remove any excess paste which exudes from the joint. Trowel the joint to a neat finish. Protect the assembled sections from movement until the resin sets. When using Vetorep ER351 as a bonding primer in the vertical or overhead position, apply an even layer of Vetorep ER351 to the surface and press it well to ensure good contact. Place the material to be bonded after approximately 1 hour at 20ºC. (This time refers to the total elapsed time from mixing the product). For patch repairs, apply Vetorep ER351 to the surface and finish it to levels. Aid a smooth surface by wetting the trowel sparingly with Vetonit Solvent XX400. Apply Vetorep ER351 to cracks or inaccessible areas using a sealant gun.
Vetorep ER351 has a working time of approximately 2 - 3 hours at 22°C. Leave the mixed material to stand for any length of time before application, as this will considerably reduce its working time.
Allow Vetorep ER351 to cure for 24 hours at 20°C before being subjected to foot traffic. At the same temperature, full mechanical and chemical properties are achieved after 7 days (please consult the Saveto Technical Department for further details about curing times at other temperatures).
Clean uncured material with Vetonit Solvent XX400. Remove cured material mechanically.
