Vetonit Grout Pure

High-performance unsanded polymer-modified non-absorbent dirt-proof cement-based tile grout for joints up to 20 mm.

Vetonit Grout Pure is an improved cementitious grout with the additional characteristics of reduced water adsorption and high abrasion resistance (as per ISO-13007-3 class CG2 WA); its polymer-modified nature ensures flexibility and its special cement base ensures strength and durability. Grout Pure is designed for grouting all types of tiles, including ceramics, porcelain, natural stone, and glass mosaics. Vetonit Grout Pure gives joints a smooth and even finish. It can be used both internally and externally.

It’s ideal for wall and floor applications with joints up to 20 mm wide. It has a unique hydrophobic formula that makes it non-absorbent, which reduces the effects of efflorescence while ensuring grout colour consistency and ease of cleaning. Vetonit Grout Pure’s design prevents mould and fungus growth.

Usage Instructions

Tile adhesive thickness should not exceed half the thickness of the tile pieces. Excess mortar should be removed.

All the joints should be free from dust, loose materials and traces of foreign materials, etc. Neutralise the tiles’ water absorption by applying clean water. Do not let water pool in the joints.

To prepare Vetonit Grout Pure mortar, pour 0.6 - 0.8 litres of water into a container then add 2 kg of Saveto Grout Pure powder and mix manually or with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3 - 4 minutes until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.

Allow the mixed material to stand for about 5 minutes and remix briefly without adding water. Do not add water to the mix once the grout paste begins to harden.

Spread the mixed mortar over the tile joints and firmly press with a rubbing pad covered with a sponge or rubber spatula. Spread the Grout mortar diagonally across the joints, ensuring pressing the grout firmly into the joints.

Remove excess grout on tiles using the same tool.

After the initial setting of 10 - 20 minutes, and depending upon the ambient temperature and humidity, clean the tiles and remove all excess material with a wet sponge. After full drying, clean the tile surfaces with a dry cloth or disposable cotton towels. When washing and drying the tiles, avoid rubbing the tile joints too deep.

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove the hardened material using mechanical means.
