Usage Instructions

The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, or any other substance that might impair bond quality with the substrate.

Concrete, hollow blocks, and cement-based substrates must be sufficiently cured and irrigated by water 1 hour before application.

Add to the mixing container 7-8.75 liters of water for each 25kg bag of Vetoset CA542. Add the powder to the water and mix for 3-4 minutes using a lowspeed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes and remix briefly without adding further water.

Apply a thin layer of the adhesive onto the substrate using the flat edge of the trowel. Comb the adhesive with a suitable notched trowel horizontally to achieve a 2 - 5 mm bed thickness. Place the tiles with firm pressure to ensure proper contact with the adhesive.

It is always better to work in a manageable area tiled within the adhesive's open time. Leave the tiled surfaces for 24 hours before grouting.

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove the hardened material using mechanical means.
