Usage Instructions
Compatible surfaces: Plastered walls, ceilings, concrete walls, cement and gypsum boards, precast, EIFS/ETICS.
The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Before the application, wet the entire surfaces with clean potable water.
Add to the mixing container 7.5 - 8.5 liters of water for each 25kg bag (15 - 17 liters for each 50 kg bag) of Vetotouch Europa. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Leave the mixed material to stand for 10min and briefly remix without adding water.
For small batch quantities, mix the material manually for approx. 1 - 2 min or when achieving homogeneous mix.
A manual application is considered (not by spray machines), optionally, adding 0.5 and 1.0 liter of Vetobond AB432 to the mixing water and adjusting the water requirement accordingly for each 25kg and 50 kg bag. Follow the same mixing procedure as described above.
Use the mixed material within 60 - 120 minutes. Do not add water once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Apply Vetotouch Europa in a single or multiple coats on the prepared surfaces by trowel application (or by spray, roller) to achieve the desired thickness of 1-5mm.
It is vital to cure Vetotouch Europa surface with clean potable water 2 times a day for 3 days. During hot and dry conditions, extend the curing period for a minimum of 5-7 days. It will help to obtain high physical properties. An acrylic-based curing compound can be used.
To protect the final color look, it is recommended to apply one coat of Vetoseal product range (contact the technical department for advice).
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After the hardening, remove its residuals mechanically only.
