Vetonit Sport AC274 is a versatile, high performance acrylic-based coating, designed for marking lines and patterns in sports and other line marking applications. Its fast-drying, light fast, and weather-resistant properties make it ideal for long lasting performance in harsh environmental conditions, withstanding exposure to water, oils, and gasoline. 

Vetonit Sport AC274 is supplied as a single component which allows for easy application and rapid drying. The product is designed for seamless application on all concrete, asphalt, bitumen, and polyurethane substrates.

Usage Instructions

Remove all contaminants, such as dust, oil, grease, salt, and mold, from the surface. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of debris, for optimal bond quality with the substrate. 

Strip away any old or deteriorated paint completely to create a fresh surface for proper adhesion. 

Remove any form-release agents, protrusions, or loose particles from the surface to ensure a smooth, uniform base. The surface must be completely dry before the application of Vetonit Sport AC274. Avoid applying the product on wet or moistened substrates.

Vetonit Sport AC274 is supplied as a single-component product ready for on-site use. To ensure uniform consistency before application, inspect the coating for any settlement or separation. Stir the coating thoroughly using a mechanical stirrer or hand mixer for consistent product dispersion, if necessary.

Vetonit Sport AC274 can be applied using a general-purpose brush, soft woolen roller, or airless spray machine. For spray applications, the nozzle must be suitable for coatings with a maximum particle size of 100 microns. 

Apply the coating evenly across the surface, ensuring consistent coverage (6–8 m2 per kg) and avoiding pooling or streaks. The first coat should be allowed to dry before applying additional layers. The product dries quickly under normal conditions, with a surface drying time of approximately 1-2 hours and a recoating interval of at least 4 hours. Full hardening occurs within 12 hours, and the surface can be opened to foot traffic within 24 hours after application.

Optimal curing occurs when ambient temperatures range between 10°C and 35°C.

All tools should be cleaned with Vetonit Solvent XX400 immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
