Vetotherm Fix

The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compound, or any other substance that might impair bond quality with the substrate. 

Concrete, hollow blocks, and cement-based substrates must be sufficiently cured and irrigated by water 1hour before application. The surface should appear damp with no water pooling. 

For the preparation of mortar adhesive, pour into a container 6.25-8.25 liters of water for each 25Kg bag of Vetotherm Fix. 

Add the powder to the water and mix for 3-4 minutes using a low- speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency. Allow the mixed material to stand for about 5 minutes and remix briefly without adding further water. 

On the backside of the insulation board, apply the Vetotherm Fix mixture. Use a suitable notched trowel to spread the mixture on the whole surface. 

Immediately after the Vetotherm Fix application on the board, fix the board to the substrate by pressing it firmly and leveling it. Ensure applying 2 to 6 mm adhesive layer thickness with full coverage. 

Do not allow the adhesive mix to form a skin before positioning the insulation board on the substrate, as it will affect the bond performance. 

Clean all tools immediately after finishing with water. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
