Vetoset CA547
Polymer-modified and water-resistant adhesive (for tile fixing in pools, fountains, and water tanks)
Vetoset CA547 is a cementitious adhesive with improved characteristics, slip resistance, extended open time, and special deformability. It is composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special additives. The product is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags, ready for on-site use, requiring only the addition of clean water to produce an easily workable mortar. Vetoset CA547 is suitable for dry-set fixing mortar, particularly for ceramic wall and floor tiles in pools, fountains, and water tanks. It is applied in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 10 mm, depending on the type of tiles and the substrate quality.

Usage Instructions
The surface should be sound, clean, and free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt, curing compounds, etc. Wet all surfaces with clean water before applying Vetoset CA547. The surface should appear damp with no water pooling.
To prepare a mortar adhesive from Vetoset CA547, pour 5.4 - 6.6 liters of water (for each 20 kg bag) into a container. Add the powder to the water then mix with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until a uniform and lump-free consistency is achieved.
Allow the mixed material to stand for about 10 minutes then remix briefly without adding more water.
You can mix Vetoset CA547 manually (for small quantities), however, you must maintain the correct ratio of powder:water. If required, add 0.5 Ltr. of Saveto Bond 2 to the mixing water, then add the powder. Use the mixed material within 2 hours. Do NOT add water to the mixture once the mortar adhesive begins to harden.
Using a notched trowel, spread the mixed Vetoset CA547 mortar adhesive and firmly press it onto the surface. (Spread the mortar adhesive to an area that can be tiled within 10 minutes).
Place the tiles onto the fresh adhesive mortar and press them firmly with a slight twist then knock them immediately into the desired position. (You can adjust the position of the tiles within the adjustability time of 10 - 15 minutes after installation).
The mortar adhesive should not rise between the tile joints higher than half the thickness of the tiles. Allow the installed tiles to remain undisturbed for at least 48 hours. Contact Saveto’s technical department for more information regarding the suitable substrates and tiles on which this product can be safely applied.
Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Remove hardened material mechanically
