Quick Floor Fix is a single component cementitious floor mortar screed composed of a blend of hydraulic binders, silica sand, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site; once mixed, it will form a Rapid set leveling screed for leveling floors, filling and patching gaps and making floor slopes. Ready to receive a floor covering as soon as 2 - 3 hrs after leveling. it is suitable to be used under paint or epoxy. Also for exterior applications applied in thicknesses between 10 and 80 mm.
The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.
Quick Floor Fix can be laid as a bonded mortar screed by applying Vetobond AB432 slurry to the prepared concrete substrate as a bonding and priming layer.
Alternatively, Vetobond AB432 can be used alone diluted or pure depending on the substrate conditions.
if the old substrates , dilute AB432 with water 1:1 and one layer is enough.
for new absorbent substrates, first layer 1 volume AB432 : 3 Volumes water , then after full dry another layer 1:1 , the application of the product after full dry of the bonding agent AB432.
To prepare the slurry primer, mix 1 volume of Vetobond AB432 to 1 volume of clean water with 3 volumes of fresh cement and mix until achieving a smooth consistency. Scrub the mixed slurry into the concrete surface. While the slurry is wet, apply Quick Floor Fix to ensure good adhesion with the substrate.
For the mixture’s preparation, pour into a container 2.5 lit to 3.0 lit. of water for each 25 Kg bag of Quick Floor Fix.
Add the powder to the water while mixing and mix with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency mix. Do not add further water to the mix. Do not add water to the mix once it starts to set.
Pour the mixed material onto the surface and spread it to the desired thickness using a steel trowel or suitable tools. Cover the Quick Floor Fix with a plastic sheet to avoid fast drying.
Clean tools with water promptly before material hardens. Hardened material can be mechanically removed.
